Dr. Uralise Delaire - Chairperson
Dr. Uralise Delaire was appointed chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Saint Lucia Semi Professional Football League in January 2024, representing the government of Saint Lucia. Dr. Delaire is also the Chairperson of the Board’s Finance Committee.
Dr. Delaire was appointed Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Youth Development and Sports, effective April 1, 2025, following her promotion from Deputy Permanent Secretary. She has held senior positions in policy planning and social transformation, notably serving as Deputy Director of Social Transformation in government. Her strategic leadership spans policy development, youth engagement, and sports administration.
Dr. Delaire is committed to advancing excellence in youth and sports programming, promoting national unity, and ensuring sustainable growth in Saint Lucia’s sporting landscape. She brings a collaborative approach, engaging governmental, community, and international stakeholders to elevate the island’s youth development agenda.
